🍺 Hold My Beer, It’s Coeliac Awareness Month
May is Coeliac Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating by encouraging people to discover and support the fantastic range of gluten free beers available across the UK.
To mark the occasion, we’re giving one lucky participant the chance to win a mixed case of 24 gluten free beers from some of the UK’s top breweries.
Discover new beers, check them in using the Gluten Free Pints app, and the participant with the most valid qualifying check-ins will win.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed with coeliac disease, following a gluten free diet, or simply keen to explore great-tasting gluten free beer, this competition is a fun way to support the gluten free community.
🌾 Supporting Coeliac Awareness Month
May is Coeliac Awareness Month, organised by Coeliac UK to raise awareness of coeliac disease.
16 May 2026 is International Coeliac Awareness Day.
Around 1 in 100 people in the UK have coeliac disease, but only 36% have a diagnosis, meaning an estimated half a million people are living with unexplained symptoms.

By taking part, you’ll be helping to showcase the incredible variety of gluten free beers available and supporting breweries that make them.
🏆 The Prize
The winner will receive a mixed case of 24 gluten free beers featuring beers from a selection of amazing UK gluten free breweries.
📱 How to Enter
Check in as many different qualifying gluten free beers as you like throughout the competition.
Each qualifying beer may be counted once per day, which means the same beer can qualify again on a different day.
Examples:
- ✅ Sunshine by Brass Castle & Bad Kitty by Brass Castle on the same day — both count
- ✅ Sunshine by Brass Castle & Lemondrop by Tun Brewing on the same day — both count
- ❌ Sunshine by Brass Castle twice on the same day — only one counts
Make sure your check-ins are not private so they can be counted.
The participant with the highest number of valid qualifying check-ins by the end of May will win.

- Opens: 12:00pm (BST) on 15 May 2026

📝 Terms and Conditions
- Please drink responsibly.
- Only check-ins made during the competition period will be counted.
- Only check-ins that are not private are eligible.
- Each qualifying beer may be counted once per calendar day. Multiple different beers from the same brewery are permitted.
- A qualifying beer must be certified gluten free by UK labelling laws.
- You must be a registered user of the Gluten Free Pints app with a valid email address.
- Participants should only check in beers they have personally consumed.
- Duplicate, fake, misleading, or fraudulent check-ins will not count and may result in disqualification.
- The organiser reserves the right to verify all check-ins and entries.
- Participants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
- The winner will be the participant with the highest number of valid qualifying check-ins.
- In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected based on the earliest final qualifying check-in.
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- Delivery is available to UK mainland addresses only.
- The winning participant will be contacted via email.
- All beers will be certified gluten free by UK labelling laws - i.e. containing <20ppm of gluten.
- The organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary.
